P4 (U24):  Explain the behaviours and attributes required for a specific job role The brand strategist is likely to work under the Brand Manager or marketing team to ensure a brand message that is consistent. The Brand strategist always tries to find different ways of enhancing the branding of a product or service. They also analyze the current market data and trends to enable them to create an accurate marketing plan. Various skills are required to be able to complete this job role effectively such as excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to conduct data by researching current marketing trends. Learning outcome 2 (U24): Understand the behaviour, skills and attributes necessary within the advertising industry There are many different job roles within the advertising industry and each role requires a set of different skills. Some of the different job roles include = - Art Director - Advertising Copywriter - Market Research - Creative Director - Digital Marketer - Product Manager Below is a series of different advertising roles and skills. Learning outcome 1 (U24): Understand the products that are produced within and across media industries D1 (U24): Discuss how successful media concepts have been positively exploited across multiple media industries. Netflix Netflix’s original business origin was to sell a mailing services with DVD rentals in 1997 but in 2007 Netflix changed and went to streaming services from that customer where able watch shows from online with Netflix realising their own shows as well as movies and TVs that have already been realised. It costs £4.99 a month for one device but £9.99 for multiple. The services are useable on lots of different devices for example smartphones, smart TVs, laptops, tablets and consoles.  Netflix now has done a partnership with a sky that now customers with a sky Q account can watch all original Netflix shows within Sky without having a Netflix account or with having a Netflix account as they would be able to connect it to the sky Q account as well. Task 2: Discuss technology  Learning outcome (u24): Understand the products that are produced within and across media industries P2 (U24): Explain the use of converging technologies within an identified sector .  Convergence is media technologies coming together and performing similar tasks as well as hard wares capabilities to do more than before for example Phones to make phones calls, send texts, emails, take pictures, access to the internet, listen to music produce films, distribute. In a media example, it would be how something like google drive can be used all around the world with laptops or smartphones.
